Outlook 2007 has integrated support for accepting information syndicated from web feeds. If you already use Outlook extensively for email and calendaring, folding web feeds into Outlook can be accomplished in a few quick steps.

I. Adding Web Feeds to Outlook

When you are on the internet, you may notice links that look like Feed Icon or Feed Icon or Feed Icon on some websites. In order to use RSS within Outlook, you will need to copy the link associated with these icons into Outlook.

To get started, open Outlook 2007 and go to Tools > Account Settings in the menu bar.

In the Account Settings window, click on the RSS Feeds tab. On this tab, you will see a button to add a new RSS web feed:

Outlook will then prompt you to enter the URL location for your web feed.

Note: Web feed URL's always end in .xml

Once you hit the 'Close' button at the bottom of the window, you will now be able to see your new feeds inside your Outlook mail folders.
