eTech manages a selection of pre-purchased apps that can be loaned out to faculty and staff. GoodReader provides faculty and staff with access to UA share drives while Explain Everything and Air Sketch allow iPads to be used as whiteboards for faculty who need remote drawing tools for teaching. Faculty and staff can request use of these tools for a semester at a time. Requests are first-come, first-served; you can make a request using the loaner app request form.
There are a few restrictions on these loaner apps:
- Apps can only be requested by A&S faculty and staff.
- Apps can only be used on A&S iPads registered through Casper. They cannot be used on personal iPads.
- Apps are loaned out on a semester-by-semester basis.
- Apps are loaned out based on availability and are first-come-first-served.
