The Office of Educational Technology (eTech) is pleased to provide Arts and Sciences faculty and staff with the opportunity to borrow audiovisual and computing equipment, such as laptops or portable projectors, for University-related or professional activities. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be checked out for up to 10 days. Faculty and staff outside of the College of Arts and Sciences should contact Ruth Pionke to ask about borrowing audiovisual and computing equipment. University of Alabama students who would like to borrow technology should contact the Sanford Media Center on the second floor of Gorgas Library.
Please Note the Following:
- This is only a REQUEST for equipment. You will receive an email confirmation when eTech personnel have determined whether the requested equipment will be available.
- Photo identification WILL be required to check out equipment. ACT card, driver’s license, or a work badge issued by UA are acceptable.
- Individuals who do not return loaner items by the due date (without prior eTech approval) will lose borrowing privileges for a minimum of 1 year (12 months).
