Updating Your iPad’s Operating System (iOS)

Updating the operating system on your iPad is easy:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select General.
3. Select Software Update. If a newer version of iOS is available, your iPad will indicate this.
4. Select “Download and Install” to complete the process.

Please note that updates may require at least 50 percent battery power and will not run if you’re on cellular service (as opposed to a wireless network).
