The Emerging Technology and Accessibility team, which is part of the Center for Instructional Technology, has been leading a UA initiative to make electronic resources and learning materials more inclusive to an audience with a wide range of abilities. These resources include video captioning tools, an accessibility management platform, and add-ons to existing office programs. The accessibility team evaluates new technology tools, provides accessibility reviews for websites and course materials, and offers workshops and department training sessions for those who would like to learn how to use these tools to create accessible documents and apply universal design in their teaching.
