Why do people from eTech need to collect information on my technology each year?

Because the majority of our technology is purchased through state and grant funding, we need to be able to document what it is and where it is located, in case we should be audited by a state or federal entity.

eTech has a sophisticated inventory database that is used to track this information, which includes the make/model, location, owner, and funds by which the items were purchased. This information is helpful when annual replacements are due, when faculty/staff leave the College, and if an item gets lost or stolen.

We now have over 10,000 items in the system, so we appreciate the help we receive from our department chairs, the department TECs, and our faculty and staff in keeping our system updated!
