Why is Tegrity going away?

In 2019, McGraw Hill (parent company of Tegrity) announced that as of 2020 it would no longer support Tegrity. The staff in the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) have been working diligently since the announcement and were able to secure Panopto as an alternative system for UA. Many faculty members moved to Panopto last fall and gave positive feedback about the system. CIT will be working this semester to migrate recent content from Tegrity, including content in “private” or “sandbox” courses. For more information, see https://cit.ua.edu/technologies/panopto/.
