Which computer labs does eTech oversee?
The College of Arts and Sciences administers nine computer labs with a total of approximately 445 workstations. Eight of these labs can be reserved by faculty and instructors for class use. If you have questions, email aslab@ua.edu.
I can’t get into the building/classroom I reserved.
Please call Security Resources at (205) 348-9494.
How far in advance should I make my lab reservation?
As soon as the scheduling season is open, you should submit a request. If you’d like to block a lab for an entire semester for a class, submit requests at least two months prior to the requested semester. Single-date or short-term requests should be made at least 2 business days in advance.
How will I know my reservation is complete and accepted?
We’ll send you a confirmation email once a lab assignment has been made.
Who should I contact about multimedia or audiovisual equipment issues?
If you experience multimedia and/or AV issues in a classroom, contact the campus AVS office at (205) 348-3453.
Multimedia/AV problems that occur in a computer lab may be reported to the lab monitor.
How do I log into the computer in my lab/classroom?
Use your myBama credentials.
